This Privacy Policy describes how STEFDPHOTO ("STEFDPHOTO," "we," "us") collects, uses, and discloses information about visitors to stefdphoto.com (the "Site") and customers of our photography and video services. STEFDPHOTO is a California-based service-area business. By using the Site you agree to the practices described here.

  • Inferences: general inferences drawn from the above, such as service-area or service-interest categories used to respond to inquiries.

We do not knowingly collect "sensitive personal information" as that term is defined under the California Privacy Rights Act, and we do not request financial account information through this Site.

2. How we use information

Information collected through the Site is used for legitimate business purposes, including responding to inquiries, preparing quotes, scheduling and delivering shoots, fulfilling client agreements, processing payments, communicating about past and ongoing projects, maintaining the security and performance of the Site, and complying with applicable law. 3. Sources of information

Information is collected directly from visitors who submit forms or otherwise communicate with STEFDPHOTO, automatically through standard web infrastructure, and occasionally from publicly available sources or third parties (for example, referral information from a brokerage that hires STEFDPHOTO on behalf of a seller).

STEFDPHOTO does not sell personal information and does not share personal information with third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising. Personal information may be disclosed in the following limited circumstances:

  • To service providers who assist with operations such as web hosting, form processing, email delivery, and payment processing, under contractual obligations consistent with applicable law.
  • To partners or contractors engaged to deliver a specific element of a project, such as aerial coverage coordinated with a Part 107-certified operator, only as needed to perform the engagement.
  • To comply with applicable law, valid legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of STEFDPHOTO, customers, or others.
  • In connection with a sale, merger, or other transfer of all or part of the business, in which case the recipient will be required to honor commitments made in this Policy.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

The Site uses cookies and similar technologies that are strictly necessary for the Site to function. STEFDPHOTO may use cookies that support analytics for general traffic and performance measurement only after a visitor records a consent decision through the cookie notice presented on the Site. Visitors may decline analytics cookies and may revisit their decision at any time through the consent notice or by visiting the Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page. 6. Photographs, video, and project deliverables

For real estate engagements, photographs and video are licensed to the listing agent or brokerage for the active listing period and for portfolio purposes by the agent and STEFDPHOTO, on the terms set forth in the project agreement. For commercial, brand, automotive, product, event, and family work, license terms and any usage of likeness are governed by the project agreement. Identifiable images of individuals are not published without an appropriate release or other lawful basis.

7. California consumer rights (CCPA / CPRA)

California residents have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act ("CCPA") and the California Privacy Rights Act ("CPRA"), which may include:

  • The right to know what categories and specific pieces of personal information have been collected, the sources of that information, the business or commercial purposes for collecting it, and the categories of recipients.
  • The right to request deletion of personal information, subject to exceptions permitted by law.
  • The right to request correction of inaccurate personal information.
  • The right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. STEFDPHOTO does not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
  • The right to limit the use and disclosure of sensitive personal information.
  • The right not to be subject to retaliation for exercising any of these rights.

Categories of personal information collected and disclosed in the preceding twelve months: identifiers, commercial information, internet or network activity information, and inferences drawn from the foregoing, as described in Section 1. STEFDPHOTO has not sold or shared personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising in the preceding twelve months.

8. Data retention

STEFDPHOTO retains personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, to perform contractual obligations, to maintain business records, and to comply with applicable law. Retention periods vary by category and purpose.

STEFDPHOTO uses reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is fully secure, and STEFDPHOTO cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Children

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and STEFDPHOTO does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the Site, please contact us so the information can be deleted.
