Family portraits are a different skill than real estate or product. The job is to make people feel comfortable enough to be themselves on camera, which means slower, more conversational sessions and less of the rigid posing most family photographers fall into. STEFDPHOTO's family work is documentary-leaning with a warm, soft color pipeline that holds up in print and on social. Sessions run forty-five to ninety minutes at golden hour, at a controlled-light location, or at a meaningful location.

Yes, in-home and meaningful-location sessions are common. Many families prefer a backyard, park, or home setting over a studio.
What should we wear?

When is the best time of year for outdoor sessions?
Spring and fall are the strongest outdoor light. Summer evening sessions work well, scheduled tight to golden hour.
