How real estate photography earns its keep.
Listing photography decides whether a buyer clicks the carousel or scrolls past. Within the first three photos the listing has either earned the showing or it has not. That is the entire job. Every STEFDPHOTO real estate shoot is built around that hierarchy: the hero shot earns the click, the next four photos earn the showing, and the rest of the carousel reinforces the decision the buyer already made. Two lighting tiers are available. Basic is an ambient-light HDR shoot starting at $200, bracketed and merged, and it is the right call for bright, well-windowed homes where the existing light already does the work. Premium is the flash-and-HDR composite workflow starting at $300, and it is the recommended tier: it is what holds white balance from room to room, opens up a dark north-facing bedroom without muddy noise, and keeps the view through the window instead of blowing it out. Both tiers deliver a minimum of thirty edited photos per shoot, ready for MLS, syndication, and social.

Both tiers ship the same standard delivery: a minimum of thirty edited photos, color-corrected and exposure-balanced, sized for MLS upload (1920px on the long edge with sRGB color profile), with original-resolution masters available on request. Files are delivered through a private cloud gallery with one-click MLS-ready download. Reshoots are scheduled within a reasonable window when needed. Every photo passes through the same edit pipeline: tone and color balance, lens correction, perspective straightening, sky-window blend if needed, minor distraction removal (cords, vents, exterior trash bins). The only difference between Basic and Premium is how the rooms were lit on the day. Add-ons include drone stills, twilight, virtual staging, floor plans, and single-property websites, all bundled or á la carte.
How we work
The process.
The shoot starts with a short walkthrough to identify the listing's hero shot, the carousel hierarchy, and any rooms that need staging interventions before the camera comes out. Light scouting follows: which rooms photograph best at this time of day, where ambient light alone is enough, and, on a Premium booking, where flash needs to come from. The interior pass moves room by room with bracketed exposures at every setup; Premium adds lit frames that get composited against those brackets in post. The exterior pass uses time-of-day discipline, with the front elevation shot at the angle and time that makes the home read strongest in the carousel. Standard turnaround is 36 hours on both tiers. Rush delivery is available. Every shoot is captured by the same photographer who shows up to your job; STEFDPHOTO does not subcontract photo work.
